Can my child play "up" into the older age division?
No. The age divisions are set and the child must play in their respective age division:
SOFTBALL (Age of child on January 1, 2010 is the age division that the child will play in)
- AGES 6, 7 & 8 (8U)(CANNOT TURN 9 BEFORE JANUARY 1, 2010)
- AGES 9, 10 & 11 (11U) (CANNOT TURN 12 BEFORE JANUARY 1, 2010)
- AGES 12, 13 & 14 (15U) (CANNOT TURN 15 BEFORE JANUARY 1, 2010)
- AGES 15, 16 & 17 (17U) (CANNOT TURN 18 BEFORE JANUARY 1, 2010)
BASEBALL (Age of child on May 1, 2009 is the age division that the child will play in)
- T-BALL: AGES 4, 5 & 6 (CANNOT TURN 7 BEFORE MAY 1, 2010)

Andrews Player: Starting at the intersection of County Road 1000 West and 1200 South, includes all eligible players east of County Road 1000 West in Huntington County, going north to County Road 700 North, then south of County Road 700 North going east to County Road 600 West, then west of County Road 600 West going south to State Road 16, then north of State Road 16 going west to County Road 635 West, then west of 635 West going south to 500 North, then south of 500 North going east to Rangeline Road, then west of Rangeline Road going south to US 24, then south of US 24 going east to State Road 9 bypass, then west of State Road 9 going south to County Road 1200 South, then north of County Road 1200 South going west to County Road 1000 West (point of beginning)

If Warren cannot fill a team, then player will automatically become a Huntington City Player.
I have 2 children who are in the same age bracket. Can they play on the same team?
Yes, if a sibling is already on a team, the younger sibling will automatically be drafted to that team.
This year with softball, we will do everything we can to get siblings on the same team.
How much does it cost to play baseball?
- T-BALL: AGES 5 & 6 ............................$35.00

How much does it cost to play softball?
- AGES 6, 7 & 8 ................................... $40.00

Does my child have to participate in the fundraiser?
No, you can just pay the fees, sell the fundraiser, or do a combination of both. ALL fees must be paid by April 30, 2010 or the child will not be able to play.
Does my child have to attend evaluation each year?
For baseball, no, your child will automatically be on the same team as the previous year, unless the child is moving up to a new league (age group). Remember, T-Ball and Mantle league players are placed on a team.
Exception -
Roanoke Area Players child must attend evaluation (tryouts) each year.
For softball, all players will attend evaluation (except for 8U)

Your child will be notified by their coach no later than March 20th, 2010.

How long does the season last?
Opening day festivities are Saturday, May 1, 2010. The regular season ends around July 4, 2010.
When is tournament for baseball and softball?
The tournament will begin July 6, 2010. The tournament usually lasts about 2 weeks.
How many games are played?
T-Ball will play 12 games.
Baseball will play at least 18 games.
Softball will play between 12-16 games.
